SGT Childers is a Below the Knee (BK) Amputee and suffers from severe Traumatic Brain Injury and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder - for his service, SGT Childers is a recipient of the Purple Heart and pending recipient of the Bronze Star for his bravery while severely injured during battle.

Titus is a two year old Beagle mix that came from a high-kill shelter in Ohio through PetSmart's "Rescue Waggin." Titus was adopted out by the Washington Animal Rescue League a few weeks ago and then found running the streets of Washington, D.C. and returned back to the Washington Animal Rescue League only to be matched with a deserving family, SGT Childers and his wife.

Titus is great! I like that I got a dog in only one week and I get to train the dog for what I want him to do for me and my wife. It's a special bond that only he and I will have, and no one can take that away from us! C4H is an outstanding organization and helped me and my wife in such a short time.
